Sichuan's Miss World hopefuls compete in bikinis
The Sichuan semifinals of the 59th Miss World China Pageant were staged last Sunday in Chengdu. After the contestants strutted their stuff in various states of (un)dress, including evening wear and bikinis, and showed off their talents, 32 were chosen to proceed to the finals.
The pageant's homepage features photos and profiles of all the contestants. Viewers can vote on their favorite "Miss World" candidate via text message by messaging B plus the number of their favorite (numbers listed here) to 1062917050. Voters will be entered into a raffle with the chance to win various prizes.
The final round of the competition will be held at Floraland Amusement Park in Wenjiang tomorrow night, and the top three will represent Sichuan in the national competition.
