"Pandas" deliver marriage proposals, apologies
Chengduers now have a new way to wish their friends happy birthday in unique Sichuan style: with "pandas."

The brainchild of an entrepreneurial express-delivery company recently established in Chengdu, the "the panda express" sends employees donning big bobbly-head panda costumes to ring doorbells all over the city.
Recipients are usually pleasantly surprised to see the flower-bearing pandas and hear them sing "Happy Birthday," deliver an apology, or even propose marriage.
Jingjing Kuaidi Gongsi (晶晶快递公司) was established only last month by 33-year-old Zhou Yu, who spent several years working at the provincial Foreign Affairs Office after obtaining a bachelor's degree in English and an MBA. Feeling that the job did not utilize his talents, he opened his own company with several tens of thousands of RMB and hired five new graduates to staff it.
