Chengdu QQ's Asia Cup Special features dirty "football beauties."
Matches for the biannual AFC Women's Asian Cup start in Chengdu tomorrow. The competition, which also serves as a qualifying tournament for the FIFA Women's World Cup, sends its top three finishers to next year's World Cup in Germany.
People's Republic of China "Steel Roses" has seen a series of seven consecutive victories while current champions North Korea has won three times as of 2008.
Two years ago the FIFA Women's World Cup preliminaries saw some packed games in Chengdu, including the U.S. vs. the DPRK in the rain at September 11 packed. But this year, so far fewer than 1,000 tickets of 30,000 to 40,000 available seats have been sold, Reuters reports.
But the Chengdu Football Association is OK with that, said a spokesperson. "As long as the Chinese team has the home advantage, however much money we might lose, we are happy," he stated.
