After the great Sichuan offensive of last month's Carsick Cars + 24 Hours line-up, the Maybe Mars army is gonna hit the DU again with the "rock detachment of women" Ourself Beside Me (it's Chinglish, not my misspelling), Wuhan new generation band AV Okubo (AV大久保) and The Molds, founded in 2005 in the style of The Cramps. Yoga for Your Daily Life @ Le Café Panam(e)
This workshop will include a general introduction to the benefits of yoga, including a brief overview of yogic philosophy and the instructor's personal experiences. The presentation will emphasize simple breathing exercises and guidelines for better posture that can be incorporated into everyday life. A brief Q&A will follow. Open to anyone with an interest in yoga, all levels welcome. Facilitator Judy Seto has been teaching Ashtanga yoga in Chengdu since January 2008. She is certified by Yoga Thailand and The Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto and has been practicing yoga for more than 10 years. RMB30 (incl. a fresh juice). From 5:30 to 7 pm. Space limited to 15 people.
