Chengdu Rugby Football Club hosts SW China's first ever rugby tournament. Six teams (Xiamen Typhoons, Shenzhen Dragons, Chongqing Conquerors, Chongqing Southwest University, Chengdu Blacks and Chengdu Whites); 20+ matches; activities including kids rugby coaching. Refreshments, beverages and BBQ. Rugby Sevens is now recognized as an Olympic sport and will debut in the 2016 Olympic Games. Although Sevens is popular all over the world and its biggest event is annually held in Hong Kong, Rugby has yet to make a big impact in Mainland China. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, July 17.
