Five teams representing four mainland Chinese cities showed their spraying skills yesterday at Luxe Hills in Huayang, Chengdu, as part of the Wall Lords Asia tour.
Each team created large-scaled graffiti pieces during the day and performed timed spray tests. Members of the local graffiti community turned out to attend the event as did a handful of local and foreign enthusiasts and curious passersby.
The competition was held in a vacant building resembling a church in Luxe Hills. Guests had the chance to try making their own graffiti art with supplies on hand, which proved popular among young attendees.
Wall Lords is a Hong Kong-based organization that hosts graffiti events around Asia.
The next two Wall Lords events will be in Thailand and Taiwan.
