Koryo Tours second documentary, A State of Mind follows North Korean schoolgirls and their family over the course of one year as they struggle to prepare for the world's biggest mass performance: the Arirang Festival in Pyongyang.

Screening – North Korean Double Bill: Crossing the Line and Our Flavour @ Bookworm
Crossing the Line (2005) is the third documentary produced by Koryo Tours and tells the story of James Joseph Dresnok, who as a young U.S. soldier during the Korean war deserted to the communist enemy and has since lived in the DPRK.
Our Flavour (2003) is a DPRK romantic comedy that shows the different challenges of different Pyongyang families and their temptations of Western influence.
The double screening is followed by a Q & A with DPRK travel expert Simon Cockerell from Koryo Tours. RMB50 (Incl. one drink). Starts at 2 p.m.
