Last year the Shamrock and Peterpan dueled it out for the title; the Irish pub won in the end with Peterpan and Bookworm rounding out the "Best Pizza" category. In the "Best Value" arena, Dave's Oasis took the crown. Who's it going to be this year?
That's right—our annual Pizzalympics is here, and two registered GoChengdooers will have the chance to join us on the 2009 Pizzalympics judges' panel.
What does that entail? Eating lots and lots of free pizza, keeping notes on the good, the bad, and the barfy.
The judging will take place at noon this Sunday in an undisclosed location in the south part of the city.
How do you become a judge? Send your GoChengdoo username in an e-mail with the subject line "I Want to Be a Pizzalympics Judge" to chengdoo [AT] gmail [DOT] com. Registration for GoChengdoo is free.
The contest closes at 11:59 Beijing time on Friday, June 12, 2009. Winners will be announced Saturday and notified by e-mail.
