For the people who plan on traveling parts of Sichuan in the near future, this Golden Panda Card (熊貓金卡) will allow you to enter 11 of the most popular tourist attractions in Sichuan at no cost. This card only costs 1 yuan and is available in 20 locations in Chengdu all found in Hong Qi (紅旗) markets. For the complete list, follow the link at the very bottom. You can also buy this at other major cities in China. You have to bring along your passport or out of province ID card in order to buy one. Then you have to activate the card by going to this website:
The reason why there is such a card is because the Sichuan government wants to show appreciation to all the support they received from the other provinces and countries after the earthquake incident. At the same time, they wish for travelers to visit some of the devastated areas and help revive some of the tourism. If you are a local and only have a Sichuan ID card, then you can only get the Silver Panda Card, which will only allow you to get half off to the 11 listed tourist attractions.

I got this two weeks ago, it was easy to get and easy to use,,but i think you can only enter each place once for free,,

If you can't find the places or just too lazy head to Dave's Oasis they are selling the cards too.
