Hey, I'm new here. I've got a few electronic devices that only have 120v adapters (adapters like on your laptop or your cellphone charger, but they don't go up all the way to 220v).
Is there an electronics market/reputable area where I can find these sorts of things. Oh, and computers (or computer components).
xiexie!

yeah, you can get all that stuff at the computer city (电脑城,数码广场,磨子桥) on the First Ring Road between Kehua Bei Lu and Renmin Nan Lu. I think a laptop adapter should be able to convert the voltage though? The other stuff, watch out! Make sure to get not just an adapter but a voltage converter, too, otherwise you'll fry your stuff.

Big ordinary supermarkets like carrefour also carry adapters for people coming from out of China. At least, the last time I bought one....

Location: Dafa AV/Electronics Market Dong Yulong Jie 东玉龙街大发电器市场
Directions: Ask for directions, it's off a small street behind the Holiday Inn downtown.
But the best bet is to taobao what you want, then find a seller in Chengdu that has it and give him a call or go to his shop.
