- does anybody know with any certainty if qing chen hou shan is open? I'm getting conflicting reports. Hope so, cos it's a cool place to go...

- It's open, RMB90 is the entrance fee (but there is a way around that fee through some back door, maybe ask some locals).
  There are 13 high-speed trains daily from North Train Station, first train 6:32 from Chengdu, last train from Qingchengshan 20:45, 30min trip, RMB15. There are also buses from Chadianzi Bus Station, RMB16, which you only want to take if you can't get a train ticket.
