where to buy herbs and spices? rosemary, basil, parsely, 5 spice mix, cardemon?

- Does anyone know if any of the stores sell foreign spices/herbs? and better yet, are there any plant shops that sell basil or parsely (ect) or any other fresh herb plants?

- hey,
  carrefour, auchan, METRO, sabrina's all have them. METRO is the only one who sometimes has fresh ones, but i think it's rare. also they have the best selection, and you can purchase large containers which, if you cook regularly, will end up being a lot cheaper than the small bottles. otherwise AUCHAN has these paper packets that are quite cheap, under 10 kuai per bag, for dried spices.

- Carrefour in the South has a selection, as well as Sabrina's. The cheapest place for bigger quantities seems to be the fishmarket (2nd floor) near Yanshikou. I've also heard of a spice market near the Lotus Market, but from what I've heard they have more Asian/Chinese spices.
