salsa dancing

  • I am a recent college grad from the US who will be in Chengdu for a period of 3.5 months starting in March.

    I love dancing (salsa or any latin dance) in particular so I am wondering if anyone know of a place in Chengdu where there are salsa nights? Google tells me that Carol's Bar by the river hosts some sort of latin night but that information was quite dated (from 2008).

    Thanks so much! I am excited to explore Chengdu :)

  • Thanks Invisible. It makes me very happy that Chengdu has a venue and many salsa addicts like myself. :)

    I won't be in Chengdu for another month. Is there a website where they post when and where the dance parties are at?

  • Carol's by the River has salsa nights every Wednesdays starting at 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays at Half Dozen on Saturdays starting at 9:30 p.m. If you have questions, do not hesitate to ask as i go there every week.

  • I will come to chengdu from 3rd - 10th of april 2011. I love salsa dancing and would like to dance much as possible in this week!

    If you know, would you please post actual salsa dance places in chengdu here?!
