We are a family group composed of parents, their children, and additional volunteer teachers involved in activities of discovering Nature and Science through getting out of the city on one weekend a month. We also are learning through photography as students and their families are challenged to gather still or moving images of living or non-living things they encounter on our outings. Everyone also learns through sharing information in discussion with the group and English activities are also encouraged (that complement the activities we engage in during our outings). In the process, teamwork, family values, and educational goals are supported. If foreigners' families in Chengdu are interested in these kinds of activities, please join us for weekend outings once a month. Single foreigners may also join the group as volunteers (in which case their participation in activities are free). Membership is free for all but each outing has an incidental expense related to the activity (such as for lunch, entrance fees, etc.) You can Email us: zhxt99@126.com (for Chinese) and dblue2006@hotmail.com (for English).
