  • I've heard that there are "ways" to get onto facebook, if anyone knows can you tell me how? Thanks!

  • use Skydur (the free lite version. you can only get access to facebook though) also, when you wanna use other sites, you gotta log off skydur. download it from citymoments.cn

  • the one i use is vtunnel.com.
    it won't let you do anything though but just stalking people lol...(you can't write on people's walls, change your own status, upload pictures, or anything!)

    but for a short period of time...it should be good enough

    Go ahead Google "free vpn", then you'll find thousands of results, among which there is a thread something named "Top 10 free VPN". A Japanese VPN is available for free, accessible to Twitter, Facebook, Youtube (JP Version) and all forbidden sites in China.

    Option 2:
    Use your mobile to download an app (make sure you dont need to buy bytes for downloading) on wap.d.cn or wap.joyes.com, named Mowriter. You will get access to Facebook and Twitter via your mobile phone.

    JUST TRY IT OUT.

  • I use Viscosity, you have to pay for it. It's works all the time and it's reliable. I think I paid about $60 US for a year.

    Strong VPN have a special on that is $85 year for 3 countries- which means you can have a US server (as to watch local ABC ect on internet) or you can set the server to UK, what ever your preference.

    They have really good 24hr online chat support. I have used this for a week and so far am happy with the service and results. If you chat with the online support prior to purchasing they will recommend a service based on your needs.

    I did pay using pay pal, and immediately I was able to chat online and get my account activated.

  • If you look on Google, there's a list of the top five free VPNs ( http://techpp.com/[...] ). I tried CyberGhost, which I think was number three or four on the list.

    My roommate has had great luck with the Aliant VPN, but its $20 for three months. However, that might be completely worth it if there's something you really need to be able to use.

  • A colleague of mine used Ace VPN http://www.acevpn.com/ Haven't tried it myself as I have a company VPN but it did work for him.

  • I use chinoxy.com, and I'd say it's legit. I haven't had any problems with it. You can also use www.anonsafe.com to get onto other sites that the Great Firewall has blocked, including facebook. Can't use it for sites to watch videos, like youtube, though.
