Couch/sofa repair

- I have a small couch/sofa at my place that has some pretty big tears in it. Anyone have any ideas how to fix it? I went to a place similar to a Home Depot in the U.S. called B & O to look for some kind of material maybe to glue/stitch onto it, but they didn't have anything.
  He Hua Chi? Lotus Market?　I'm thinking to stitch on top of the holes, or find some kind of sofa cover. It is made of that fake brown leather.

- go with the couch cover. buy some fabric at hehuachi and ask a tailor to make it for you.

- Upholstering is a kind of itinerant trade (like the knife sharpening). Folks that do this can be found in many neighbourhoods. You might ask at the management office in your apartment complex if they can recommend someone who does 修沙发 xiu shafa, taking a cellphone picture with you if you have trouble explaining the problem.
  Also not to hard to find couch and chair covers. I would expect that the bigger department stores should have them.

- at least in my neighbourhood there arent any. my guard told me that nowadays everyone buys a new sofa, so they all had to find a new job.
