    • I guess we all have to wait another month for a confirmed line up and other details. But they signed for five years, so it should be on.

    • Xiongmao/Panda was the only improvement, good tent & sound. Nice jam & good gramaphonetics performance.

Transport situation seems worse than years before as the taxi drivers want to charge 100+ to go from the city (without meter, with meter the fare should be under 60, but they are reluctant to go by meter) and there are VERY few taxis back in the evening. Black taxis want 7/80/100+ kuai. That mobile bread box aka bus 198 and other lines stop operating 8/9 p.m. and are too small to hold more than 20 ppl! No official bike parking only cars. Unofficial "bike guards" only keep an eye on your bike till 8 p.m.

Some more quick observations: Tents are 120 a night up from 15 four years ago. The only beer on sale is budweiser. Security doesn't bother to check your bags. You can't leave the festival and re-enter with your ticket. Fewer (young) people, last act on the big stage like 9.30 p.m. Sky stage was dead most of the time.

Important note: Police there won't interfere AT ALL with any troubles/problems/fights so don't mess too much with the taxi drivers/ ticket mafia unless you don't mind 1:30 mob fights. (And yes there is a police station right there at the festival entrance with tons of police) Being laowai won't save your ass in Xindu.
