    • my wife and I are looking for a pet, preferably a dog...
does anyone know where we can either adopt one or purchase a pup or dog? also do most dogs have their vaccines done or do I need to bring the dog directly to the vet?

    • Check out our new pet shop in Hangkong Lu Nr. 19
It's located close to B&Q. One minute east of the Cosy City Hotel on Ke Hua Zhong Lu.
We sell dogs in the shop and are in contact with local breeders to find the right dog for you.
The shop is the cleanest in Chengdu.
      Our dogs got their vaccines.

    • I would seriously suggest you adopt a dog online. I used this website to adopt my dog and he cost me 2 Yuan as a cultural formality.

There's too many dogs and too many disreputable breeders in China. Don't buy!

    • @aamagpayo The pictures usually are of the real dog. Obviously it helps if you can read some chinese or have a friend help you. Some people are selling, while some people are giving away for adoption.

    • My wife called them this one is already sold.
Most dogs on ganji are for sale not to adopt and most of the prices are not the real ones, they just want to get your attention.
If you want to adopt a grown up dog aizhijia is a good option.
If you need help with the adoption we can also help you.

    • I adopted a puppy from aizhijia before but it had so many health problems from worms to parvovirus that it probably contracted there and eventually died. I think an adult dog would be a better decision to adopt there.

I find Ganji is reliable if you speak to the owner and get a sense of their personality and why they're selling the dog. Buying a dog from a shop in China is much more unreliable in terms of the health of the puppy.
