Which restaurants can deliver to JiuYan Bridge 九眼桥

  • I've been scouring the gochengdoo food listings and I've been having trouble finding places that will deliver to my apartment just past jiu yan bridge.

    Don't get me wrong, I love and know how to cook for myself. We can all agree it is a great feeling on those lazy days to know that a hot meal is on its way in 30-40 minutes.

    People who live in waterfront, kingland, and goldenbound on hong ji xin lu, know of any good delivery restaurants?

    So far my list is:

    Mike's Pizza (Great garlic knots, okay pizza. One of the worst feelings in the world is calling up and Mike telling me "I can't deliver to you today, its too busy. Alright Mike, try ya next time)

    Cacaja on bing jiang road. (costs me 20 RMB extra for delivery and every time I order something isn't right and they won't send a replacement)

    McDonald's (I never eat this in the states but it is a life saver at 2:00 AM after a long night at CC. Also, delivery ice cream. One thing China does right where the U.S. is missing out. One thing...)

    KFC (won't deliver fries, wtf? Gotta love that New Orleans burger though)

    Sardinia Pizza (Soggy pizza and it took an hour and a half to arrive)

    Papa Johns (every time I order from here, I regret it)

    That's really all I can think of. Anyone have some suggestions?

  • That area is one of the best, food-wise, that I've ever lived/eaten in. Try letting your feet instead of fingers to the walking and find popular small local places; many will deliver for a yuan or two. The effort involved in communicating in Chinese and figuring out which local dishes you like is minimal compared to the long waits and bad food you are currently experiencing.

    You're right, there is great Chinese restaurants here who usually deliver. This is my third year here and I love me some 木耳,糖醋里脊, 麻婆豆腐, 回锅肉, 宫保鸡丁 etc. Not to mention the price is amazing. 40 RMB can easily fill 3 people. The one problem is, the portions are so large that if I'm eating by myself I can only order one dish. That's why I always eat Sichuan food with a friend. Another problem is I'm not a big fan of the reused oil. Have any suggestions? Why is it that the "oil trap" restuarants always taste the best? More MSG?

  • Called Kaminarimon, but they didn't pick up. Will try again at least once. Any days when they are not open?

  • should be open every day, but may be closed for some hours between lunch and dinner. try to call again.

  • PARADISE is an INDIAN restuarant, they can parcel the food to your appartment, but you shud explain them once exactly where is your appartment located, they will charge only 1 yuan extra, try to contact the boss @ 18628014364, he is a student and can speak english chinese and indian language....

  • btw it s close to you, and cheap..and they speak good english. if you have time better is come to there, their maneger sometimes give you free coffee, if she have a goodmood,hahaha

    Sicilia? Haven't heard of it. I'll try there next time. Can I get a phone number?

    Remember, I am looking for restaurants that will make same day deliveries. While these are great suggestions lets try to keep the suggestions to places that can deliver.

    As for myself, I found one place called "natural beef noodle" which can deliver around the jiu yan qiao area before 630 pm. Their number is 85369079.
