I've enrolled at SWUN, however, I'm finding the classes to be boring and not particularly helpful, also I live far away. I'm finding I prefer studying by myself, and if necessary would still like to take the exams at the end of the course. Has anybody ever heard of a University cancelling a visa for non-attendance?

it's not unheard of, but rather rare from what i know. After all you've paid fees, they may however not let you sign up for the next semester.

universities are being checked by authorities for attendance records of foreign students. so they keep attendance records. teachers are also getting paid according to attendance records. if at some point it becomes very important for the authorities to get their records straight (which is not too often) then your visa can be cancelled. since universities have to comply to the law ofcourse.
