Comfortable, quiet place with a brick oven. Appart from the soups and soft drinks a bit pricey. A nod to the friendly staff, pasta and steak lunch deals and nice presentation of dishes. WLAN

I went to the Casa Mia near Sichuan University. OMG! the best Lasagna I have ever try in Chengdu and the pizza was awesome as well! I'm so picky when it comes to Italian food because I can cook pasta and lasagnas so if a restaurant is not better than my cooking I usually don't like it. I really enjoy the lunch today, the flavor was authentic and tasty, I really feel like eating real Italian food and not just a copy of it. The staff is pretty diligent and friendly. I would definitely come back to this place, even when I live so far from there!

Substandard food and service. The tastiest dishes are mediocre at best and way too expensive. I see no reason to eat here when there are now so many better options in Chengdu.

Keep in mind that I am talking about the new Casa Mia that just opened up by the American Embassy. They had an Italian chef design their menu and apparently teach them how to actually make Italian food. I do not recommend the Kehua Bei Lu Casa Mia. However at the new one by the embassy the food is awesome and modestly priced for the quality of the food. They have a lunch special for 45 Kuai in which you get spaghetti bolognese, a salad, and a nice cup of coffee or fresh squeezed juice. They also have great ravioli and good gnocchi. Check it out. The staff is pretty sweet too, I think the waitresses were afraid of me and my friend when we waved at them.

I love this place with it's affordable food, extremely nice staff, delicious wines, and the best Carbonara in Chengdu :)

I kinda like it. Good spaghetti and lasagna. Pizza could be better...

Since it's one of the only place in the entire city where i can get a half decent Lasagna, I give it 3 stars.

The pizza is not bad and yes, the service is in English. But hell, we're in China so I wont rate a place for the language they serve in. Although, if they all spoke italian, they would get another star :p

The service really is quite terrible: I ordered a dish with chicken and instead got assorted scraps served. There was not a single piece of pure meat, but plenty of skin instead. When I asked to get the meat replaced, they just refried the entire thing. Because obviously that was the problem...

Pretty bad food at inversely high prices, unresponsive wait staff. The only reason to go there might be to find a quiet corner where you can use their free (and, since nobody's using it, relatively fast) WiFi. Well, technically you probably have to buy a 15-kuai cup of coffee, but if you can stretch that out all afternoon it's better than the noisy, everybody-coming-up-to-greet-you WiFi alternatives known as Peter's, Bookworm, and Shamrock.
