    • I went again on Tuesday and it was awesome. My friends who were visiting enjoyed it. Its worth noting that in the off peak season that most rides dont actually start going until about 11am.

The adult price was still the same at 130RMB and the student ticket seemed to have gone up to 105RMB. I've seen at the travel agent in Xidan Market you can buy (Jinsha) tickets for 90RMB (students) and 110RMB (adults) - so if your looking to save a couple of RMB your just as well buying them in advance.

I never saw it before, but there is an indoor sky diving wind tunnel next to Happy Valley. Its 290RMB a go or you want a Happy Valley ticket at the same time its only 300RMB. They have a bit more information on their website; http://www.skyventure-cd.com/

    • Happy Valley is awesome. 3 major rollercoasters - the top 2 are fab. But beware of sitting next to virgin riders who have no idea what is about to happen..... Other daredevil recommendations are the rotating pendulum, and the high-speed vertical lifts. The giant log flume and its smaller rapid run neighbour are just a good laugh - but you WILL get wet, even with the polythene capes supplied. If you have any doubts whether this kind of park is for you then dont bother but my wife loved it and she suffers from vertigo. Lots of snacks and drinks available but nothing substantial - the kebab place next to the 3D cinema is worth a visit though. Never had any problem with transport or pricing - but i know it can happen - stick to the meter and be firm with any taxi. Bus is very cheap - use Google Maps to check your route in English - it gives bus numbers.

    • This amusment park is just okay, let us be honest. Also, getting out of the park, and home, is a big pain in the ass. Taxis are usually expensive coming back to the center of town... if you can find them!!! Their are so many people exiting the park that it is hard to spot a taxi, and I had to take a balck taxi that was enormously expensive.

The best part about the park, though, is the turkish ice-cream stand, where a really funny turkish man is playing with the ice-cream, and bopping it on kids heads, and so forth.

The rides are okay, and if you like roller coasters, be my guest. Their are very little waits for rides, and their is usually a show that goes on in the center of the park, which is fun to watch.

    • Great fun. Go in the week no need to wait for the rides.
