If you want to see an extremely energetic band from Venezuela check out Black Jack. They play a mix of Latin & rock covers and def deserve some more promo & word of mouth.

    Bah, it's okay.

Atmosphere: okay (not a fan of the predatorial environment though). The best part of the bar is probably the outside area. If you enjoy predators, being prey, or overdressed girls with heavy make-up, then this is your dig.

Music: Usually bad and too loud for conversation inside the bar.

    Drinks: Expensive.

Wine: Not good quality, but what can you expect? It's free.

Only worth going to if you're a lady and it's Thursday, or if you're a guy who can get a lady friend to score you some free wine.

Hmmm... The overall rating is 4.5 stars, yet 8 rankers gave it a total of 24 stars. I'm not good in math but that should be a 3.0 average, shouldn't it?

I always love this place on a Thursday ( LADIES NIGHT ) but went for dinner last night and had the Rib eye and it was fantastic. They have a pretty good band now but please bring SOLIDAZ back . .

Free wine on Ladies Night is brilliant. Solidaz are okay, bit too loud and could choose some better songs.
Atmosphere is nice enough. Friendly waiting staff and nice outdoor area too.

Their cover band is pretty good, but I don't like their selection of songs. Somehow I can't get to like Mooney's, it's quite expensive both drinks & food, and the later one is just oily, fat fast food. Their pool table is decent & terrace looks comfy.

    Seems like a good place.

Nice food. I had the Fish and Chips, my friend had the Tandoor Pizza, both were good. In fact, I didn't think the food prices were too expensive (unless you want to order some Aussie Beef... and I don't count... ;)).

Drinks aren't cheap, but there are more expensive bars around though.

Unfortunately, the Scotty Wright jazz performance we went to see tonight (advertised here on GoChengDoo) had been switched to last night (Valentines Day)... :(( Got to see Scotty when he turned up for some dinner tonight though...

I saw advertisements for a New Zealand (cover?) band who start in March. I think they're called Solidaz.

    I'll be back.

Absolutely transformed with the latest bar manager and the Antipodean band which plays great music almost every night. Service is good with a handful of chatty genuine hostesses occasionally to back it up and the food is excellent if a bit pricey. A place I used to avoid but now much more attractive.
