We live near peters so its really convienent, but that's where it ends. It would be great if there was anything positive I could say about this place, but we were really disappointed. The guacamole was a joke, the burger tasted strange (the flavor of the meat was off) and the fajitas were downright bad (and kind of expensive too!). The hokey atmosphere is beyond cheesy (were from houston and were gritting our teeth) and the music (when we went anyway) was ridiculous. The only positive thing I can think of is its apparently clean and the wireless worked fine.

Have recently been going to Peter's for the avocado and chicken salad, it's so good, I shouldn't really be telling you about it as they have limited I was shocked by how good it was and really filling. Nice to find a good salad in chengdu.

The quality of food and the service has dropped fast lately, the prices on the other hand has increased even faster. There is NO reason to support this place.

My rating is based on one thing and one thing only: MILKSHAKES.

A peanut-butter and chocolate shake is 42 rmb, it's cold, creamy and super delicious.

For the best ambiance, go to the Pete's on Lingshi Guan Lu, near the American Consulate, between 2-6pm for a little milkshake date. There are very few people and it's exceptionally clean.

(PS) - Unless you're a fan of disappointment, don't order the other foods on the menu.

This place used to be decent, but as everyone else seems to be saying: screw the increase of prices and decrease in quality. I'm not one to normally take effort to review a place, but this is preposterous. It used to be that you can get a decent hamburger for a decent price, but the way prices are now, the value and even the allure of the place is gone. 59 RMB for a bacon burger, 65 for mediocre burritos. Forget it. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

food is alright, but that's it.
Prizes are as usual a bit to to high for CD.

Ohh the potato salad has a nice flavor, but they need to boil the potatoes a bit longer, some are hard as a rock. (every time)

The cheese on our nachos wasn't melted anymore by the time they got to our table. Same for the cheese enchilladas. They "reheated" it, but that didn't change much.
The chicken fajita sandwich was ok, and the waffle fries were good.
    Very pricey for Chengdu though

The chocolate cake is amazing!!!! A massive slice and only 12rmb, I could hardly finish it. Soooo good.
The rest of the food is good too. It's not cheap but I'm happy to pay that extra bit more because it's always good food and the service is fine too.

I haven't been there in ages and as prices went up I don't see a reason too. I used to digg the TexMex Burger & Apple pie and their terrace, but in half a decade the only modification on their menu was adjusting the prices to their liking.

The last time I went here I ordered the two tacos that used to be 18kuai and then were 26kuai and now might be even more expensive I heard. Anyway I asked them to substitute refried beans for the chicken or steak. When it arrived not only was the whole thing cold but also in my first bite there were a few shreds of chicken. I thought they had messed up my order so I dug further. I didn't find any more chicken but I found stray clumps of mashed potato! As if somebody had dropped the beans somewhere they shouldn't have been ... I didn't want to know what was going on in that kitchen. Anyway, not impressed.
