Got great foods but honestly it's time to drop the prices it's not that difficult to obtain these import items anymore as harsh as the reviews are its time to agree the prices are ridiculous you will go out of business soon with places like TREAT and Auchan!

As a seasoned Laowai in Chengdu, I can tell you I feel like it is a love-hate type thing with Sabrina's...
Love: I, like many foreigners, just want a slice of cake, or a caprisun drink, or a corona... it makes me feel like I'm home.
Hate: Sabrina's Country store is a relic of the past, when China used to have no foreigners, and thus, foreign goods were extremely difficult to get, importing them into China was also a big pain, etc. Now, more than 8000 foreigners here in Chengdu, I think these prices are disgusting. Yeah, fuwuyuan, with that wide smile, please take my 25 RMB for a CANOFTUNA!!!!!!!
I will never step into this establishment again, and you should not either.

They had some stuff that made me drool but I didn't buy anything, the prices were high and things like cheese and cereal can be brought cheaper in other large stores.

I used to go there, when I was too lazy to make it to one of the foreign supermarkets, but since I don't live around the store anymore there is no need really. I can get better and cheaper cheese at Auchuan and almost anything else too.

Normally I would prefer to support the independent store over the chain stores but Sabrina's has failed me enough times that now I'd rather go to Metro or Auchan or even--horror of horrors--Carrefour to buy my imported goods. Selling expired cheese and tinned foods, mozzarella that's being sold as emmentaller, higher prices, mislabeled stuff ... and the cashiers act like they're doing you all kinds of favors by ringing up your stuff. And you have to pay for boxes if you buy a slice of their cake or pie.
