I'll be there. Who else?
Hooligans in Chengdu? I hope it's only a one-timer.
Tried the Lozzi donuts this week. Agree the dough needs to bake a bit longer.
They have around 20 topings, ok the marketing department was creative with the name-tagging, and they are visually attractive, but the prob is simple they don't taste good. Maybe they should invest a bit in the production and training of the person who pushes the buttoms on the donut machine.
I also I miss a just plain donut with sugar on top.
The whole shop seems to be designed for young Chinese school girls, and who else would like to hang out on one of the four chairs anyways.
RMB 5.50 for one tiny donut it's not cheap. So Lazzi donuts final verdict: Do Nut go there. Get a recipe online and make your own donuts, tastier and better and more fun.
P.S. Q's coffee has a shop on tongzilin dong lu, too. If you come after 8 p.m. you get the baked goods 30% off.
2 Kuai a bottle? I'm switching jobs. No seriously it's probably 2 mao.
As I passed yesterday this "famous" bus stop the "q-phenomenon" doesn't seem so mysterious to me. Most stops with fewer waiting passengers don't need to queue, cause it all goes smooth. And the stops where it would make sense to queue either don't provide enough space to make a proper queue or the bus doesn't stop at a fixed position as the next bus from another line is in front or behind. So what's the fuzz about?
Sounds cool. But the link doesn't want to work, could you check please?
This Sichuan Airlines flight goes to Shanghai so heading East, which would mean your window on board is either facing South or North. Wouldn't it make more sense to book a flight to Beijing with a window seat on the right-hand side? At the time of the full eclipse the sun would be in the South-East, so a North-Eastern flight would be the right thing, or am I forgetting something here?
Anyways judging by my experience with the Chinese airlines I doubt the plane would leave in time. Enjoy onboard breakfast.
Please read the full post. Of course it costs money to take part in the event, however you can win a free ticket. good luck
Sorry to hear that you didn't get free entrance. We forwarded your information to the organizer by sms and email, and received a confirmation.
If they didn't let you in for free, it's them messing it up, not our fault.
Maybe you can ask Marco to get free entrance the next time? Btw how was it, we couldn't make it, cause we were working all night.
Nice. Air Asia offers some really good rock buttom deals to KL from other Chinese cities already, plus good deals from KL to other destinations in Malaysia in South-East Asia. Might be cheaper in the future to do the visa-run to KL than HK. Can't wait!
I know the band and they know me and I told them in person if that calms your nerves down a bit.
So andrew smiley is your real name?
They didn't move, they just extended the bar space by taking over "Queen Beeles", which before used to be the Loft.
We asked some representative of the Real Estate company 24 City at the Chengdu Real Estate Fair if they sponsored the movie, so obviously yes. I wouldn't be too suprised if it was a PR-Stunt, considering most of the interviewed were actors.
Anyone has any idea why this group of 20 who was starting the "Jia You Sichuan, Jia You Zhongguo" shouting was wearing wearing T-Shirts of "New Era Health Industry"? Also why out of nowhere did this banner appear "Hubei People stand in Solidarity with the victims of the 5.12 Beichuan Earthquake"?
Last no least a link to some more good pics by Ben Fredman
boss ma plays mainly standards, not really the highest form of music imo.
also there is classical music as well as other instrumental and electronic music that is intellectually demanding take stockhausen or cage. besides if it comes to jazz I have seen better! keep on practising...I want more cool and impro jazz from you guys, standards are boring.
