nice text!! thank you so much for sharing.
I grew up in Manizales, a small city in Colombia, and I lived in Bogotá and after a couple of years move to Tunja. The both lasts cities don't speak spanish with my accent, and life style is completely different. Last year I went to Taiwan, and some time ago I just move here. That situation make me think and re - thing about my identity, my roots, then I consider, culture, language and accent, manners, food, all of this are things outside our reality. In fact they make us a person but without a deep reflexion on what we are, those facts "take our lives" and give to it a meaning, which is, in my opinion, kind of superficial.
More over, humans have the weird necessity to belong in a group, but belonging somewhere helps to forget what we truly are. Once we belong somewhere, that surrounding give that meaning and we justify ourself by our group. From some point of view it's ok and from some point of view it let us forget deep things of our reality as human beings.
Ok I'm talking so much XD
but, I think everything in this world must to be flexible, and this is not intelligence but wisdom is about, to know how, where and when to be flexible. The example she provide is just a good example how to be flexible and make everybody happy.
