This is the perfect spot for musicians trying to improve their craft.

Here is the equipment available to all for open jam sessions on stage as of this date:

1. Big, loud guitar amp (bring your own guitar or borrow someone else's)
2. A house kit with house sticks.
3. Bass amp with a house bass.
4. House microphone

The mezzanine is a good spot watch the jams without getting bumped.

The downers here are that it's extremely smoky and you'll smell pretty bad by the time you leave. Also there are these two tire stacks right in the middle of the way to the bar/bathroom, so walking to the there is always a hassle.

Thursdays are the busiest nights, so you'd better come with a few friends on a different day to get more playing time :)

Here you'll find the most "proper" beers in chengdu: a wheat one for 20rmb and a stout one for 25rmb, both on tap. There is also alcoholic cider on tap for 20rmb but it's a bit too sweet for me.

The music playlist is always creative and interesting. Sometimes they let people get on the stage and play with the house kit, and that's fun to watch.

I've been out here four or five times and will return!

My rating is based on one thing and one thing only: MILKSHAKES.

A peanut-butter and chocolate shake is 42 rmb, it's cold, creamy and super delicious.

For the best ambiance, go to the Pete's on Lingshi Guan Lu, near the American Consulate, between 2-6pm for a little milkshake date. There are very few people and it's exceptionally clean.

(PS) - Unless you're a fan of disappointment, don't order the other foods on the menu.

It's 25-35 yuan for a pizza on TUESDAY nights.

Very delicious and satisfying pizza, though the very poor service truly exemplifies the advantages of the tipping culture back home.
