Launched in 2016, MaxIvy program was designed to continually motivate and guide Chinese children (3-12) to achieve self-exploration and self-development through the second language study. Plan a safe, healthy English learning environment rich with experiences to advance a child's language, cognitive and social development.
Teaching subjects may include Art Activities; Drama Activities; Reading and Literacy; Math; Music and Movement; Science Activities; Fitness Activities etc
Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials before class
Attend weekly group meetings and staff meetings
Conduct peer observations to exchange and promote effective teaching techniques
Participate in various marketing activities and events, such as public lectures, education fairs and conferences, etc
Curriculum development, including English immersion program and enrichment program
Minimum education: Bachelor's degree
Prior experience or knowledge of K12 English second language teaching

Compensation package (for a 12-month contract; compensation for different contract lengths will be adjusted accordingly):

GreatChina is looking for a short term full-time English teacher for one of its partner schools, Shishi Middle School. Shishi Middle School, located in the eastern of Chengdu, is one of the reputable public schools in Sichuan province. It has two campuses based in Chenghua district, Chengdu, with over 2500 students. The school faculty numbers 220 professionals, including 20 top academic teachers and 87 senior teachers. This position is to start from March 1, 2018. Duration: March 1 to June 30, 2018. Teacher is expected to design lesson plans with teaching materials provided by the school. Target students are aged from 13-14, Grade 7.
