A well-known Western restaurant, the Lazy Pug, located in the Tongzilin Area of Chengdu is hiring staff. We are hiring English speaking servers for both night and day shifts. We are looking for part-time and full-time servers. Decent ability in English is necessary and more importantly confidence! The Pug is a friendly place to work with owners who are always there and care! We are hiring servers, but for the right person other positions, such as supervisor/manager might come available.
We pay above average and this can be discussed face-to-face. We ask all that call to please be about to commit at least 6 months. This is not a temporary job and we are looking for long term workers.
Please call Stella at 13880758823 to schedule an interview.
Ok...then you cannot do it over the Internet....
You must get it before leaving! Both can be done in kunming but leave at least 8 biz days to do both.
Advice: do Burma as a separate trip. Combing all of that area into one trip blends together. Enough to do in each for months....in my humble opinion.
Hello! Vietnam is quite simple...fill out forms online and pay. It will be ready at the airport. Most online companies are fine, we used several.
Burma is a bit more difficult. There is always talk about doing it online, but nothing is yet promised. Bangkok is by far the best and easiest way. You can do it in one day. I would not buy a ticket to Burma without a visa in my passport. People might tell you differently but we saw people being turned back at the airport in Yangon! Laws there are always changing. We were there about a year ago.
Burma is great and worth the hassle for...don't skip it because of the visa hassle, but don't buy any airline tickets without a visa! Unless they are very cheap air asia ones!
Thank you guawazi...nice name.
Most of our brunch options are vegetarian...eggs florentine, crunchy french toast with mango, cheesy egg sandwiches (minus the sausage), etc...The menu is a la carte and includes bottomless coffee. Items range from 60 to 70 rmb. Not very expensive since most people linger for hours and drink their fair share of coffee! Fresh juice is juiced to order and NO WATER OR ICE is added. We also have spicy Bloody Mary's made with thick, imported tomato juice. We serve from 11am to 2 pm. Brunch is something we offer because the city is lacking in brunch options...not a money maker!
We are still pugging along! Jorge I hope you found us last Thursday. We just saw your posting. We are still doing our "Mexican" (or as close to Mexican food we can get in Chengdu!) night every Thursday. Tends to get really busy from 7 pm to 9:30 pm or so. We do take reservations through our website...www.thelazypug.com.
As Dragon Expeditions mentioned we are closing for renovation from Thursday, July 5th until Tuesday, August 14th. We will re-open on Wednesday, August 15!
We are having a big 4th of July celebration complete with homemade apple pie and watermelon drink specials. It will be on that Wednesday (the actual 4th) and be from noon til midnight.
We will also be opening the Crazy Pug in the Zijing Area (near Carefour) in the south of the city in late August.
Thank you once again to everyone who has made the Pug fun!
Enjoy the summer!
Happy, Happy 2015!
We would like to thank all those that have supported the Pug over the past 4 years!
Getting to know a vast majority of our regulars has made our job a pleasure.
The Pug will be CLOSED today, January 1st, to let our staff relax.
We will reopen at 5pm Friday the 2nd.
Have a safe and healthy New Year and hope to see some of you at the Smokin' Pug Bangkok.
Mike and Aiqing,
We respect what you two do and know how difficult it. Your consistency is unbeatable! Our friendship started due to your quick service and great pizzas. Danny and I are in Ethiopia now near the South Sudan border (our first internet connection in days) dreaming of a Frog Prince! Out of your delivery zone???
We love you two and always support you. One thing we find to handling the stress of running a restaurant is take more breaks and just leave! We know we would not be as pleasant if we did not.
Enjoy your vacation and can't wait to catch up soon.
