Man, you could do a whole piece on Chinese interior decorating crimes: white tiled floors, monstrous over-stuffed sofas, and the highlight: super-sized awesomely-cheesy wedding pics, hung prominently in the living room. Who knows, in 20 (or 50?) years, it could become retro-cool...

Yeah, there was a boxing event at the same venue last year. Tix were the same price as this MMA one. I also just rocked up and got a ticket for 50 kuai. The crowd was decent but the level of fighting was pretty poor, with one very suspicious-looking match. Not a bad laugh for 50 kuai but i woulda been kinda bummed to have burned 180 big ones. Amazingly, Don King was promoting it and in attendance! Shoulda known anything that shark was involved in would be mucho sketchyo....

Dude, get over it. Stop whining. Buy a visa (it's not so hard). Go freelance. Never sign a contact again. If a school screws you, cut your losses and walk away, find another job (they're falling from trees in Chengdu). Sleep well at night. Talk about payback, PSB connections etc is all laughable, man. Switch to decaf. All the best brother teacher....

@mekkeael and offifer: guys, you wanna call me a f**king liar, have the balls to do it. Why so skeptical? I have mates here for 8 or 9 years who also have no problems. You guys who have all the trouble with the schools remind me of the guys who are always getting into fights at bars, then say "Chinese guys are crazy and love to fight foreigners!". Yet, the vast majority of foreigners have no trouble. If schools are always f**king you, maybe you need to look at yourself. I don't run or represent any schools, so forget about calling me a "stooge" or an ass kisser. Man, there are certainly shitty schools here, but also lotsa shitty (foreign) teachers.

Ten years teaching here, literally dozens of schools, basically no problems. Man, read the fine print VERY carefully, be responsible, treat people with respect, enjoy the job. Seems to work out fine for me....
