    There are bike shops in that area, i can't tell you exactly in which street. Most bike brands are just as good as Giant, the frames are from the same quality.
    I recommend bikes from Decathlon, have a look there, you can test them in the shop.

    One more thing!
    Buy at least 2 good locks and use them always!!! Don't use those cheap black cable locks they sell everywhere in Chengdu. (u can cut them in 2 sec) I lock my bike always to a tree, fence or if there is nothing to other bikes, so they can't walk away with it or load it on a truck.

    the Giant shop on Kehua Beilu is rubbish!
    Over priced and bad service, one of the worst bike shops in town.
    You better have a look around on the 1st ring road. From the Shamrock go north and turn left at computercity, after the 1 traffic lights u find on the leftside some bike shops.
    But all over CD there are loads of bike shops, u better check some out before u buy a bike. Cheers!

    Hi, yeah i know the area around Longquan and Luodai very well, but i look for something closer to Chengdu.
    Till a few months a go there was a nice bike park (build by local guys) near the Sichuan Normal university, it was a perfect place to practice AM/Enduro/Freeride.

    So now i wonder if there is any other place within the 4th ring road where you just can go for a few hours of fun?

    Btw, do you ride AM?

    Ok, what the hell is going on there?
    They play the same music over and over again for the last weeks, mainly Irish boy bands and the depressing Cranberries! (and U2)

    I ordered a vegetarian pizza (big 52rmb) and it was totally RUBBISH!!! The worst one i ever had in Chengdu! To much cheese, no tomato sauce and pumpkin... WTF!? So i send it back and told them it was bad, the second was again RUBBISH! hardly any toppings and way to much CHEESE!

    Man why always so much cheese?? Most of the laowai in CD are not American, i repeat: NOT American!
