Nice pics, friendly animals...thanks.
This April I will visit Ya'an including a tour to Shangli Ancient Town. Actually, Shangli, the traditional Sichuan old town, is a fantastic place to explore the anthentic lifestyle, folk cultures, arts...
Besides this old town, I'll extend to Bifengxia Panda Base and Mengding Mountain to volunteer the panda bears and taste some spring tea in temple on the mountain. http://www.chinadiscovery.com/panda-tours.html
Actually, I went to Mount Qingcheng three times, but every time I just went the back mountain of it for the quite atmosphere and beautiful scenery. I hope next time I would go to the front mountain to explore Taosim there. http://www.chinadiscovery.com/chengdu-tours.html
Last year in December, I went to Xiamen and had 3 days Hakka houses visit in Nanjing and Yongding County, Fujian. In 2008, a total of 46 Fujian Tulou sites in Nanjing and Yongding County, including Chuxi Tulou Cluster, Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, Hekeng Tulou Cluster, Gaobei Tulou Cluster etc. have been inscribed by UNESCO as World Heritage Site. http://www.chinadiscovery.com/fujian-tulou.html
I think it is not only the cluster of Hakka culture, but also the most extraordinary type of Chinese rural dwellings.
Last month from June 25 to June 28, I took Victoria Anna 4 days and 3 nights from Chongqing to Yichang to visit Three Gorges in China. Actually, I enjoyed my trip very much especially day 2 and day 3. When my boat sailed through Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge, I thought it was very worth visiting Yangtze River. http://www.yangtze-river-cruises.com/
You could watch Sichuan Opera in the opera house in Qintai Road or Jinli Old Street. While enjoy the opera, visitors could sip the some tea like the locals do. Some said the opera is fantastic and some said it was boring. I went there once, it was good for me.
