how can I get there? car, bus, train? how far is from Chengdu?
this is crazy! the kids can learn to swim but not like that, he is putting them the wrong way in the water!!! pretty much sure those kids will end up with some phobia towards water!
Plus the parents giving up their kids for 6 years it's so illogical and absurd!
Thank you so much for all the information.
I'm actually thinking in taking this train to Shanghai instead of the plane...
Thank you so much for this information! Tomorrow I'm gonna try Happy valley!
I always feel so frustrated when I see how people in China rise their babies. They let the kids to do whatever they want, including peeing everywhere in the park. I hate being in a crowded bus with kids moaning and yelling at their grandparents or hitting them. I don't have a baby but in my country people keep their offsprings under control specially in public places.
And I always ask myself, what's the point of overprotecting a child when you're going to smoke over their faces and let them sit on the dirty floor where other people previously spat? Because I had seen countless of fathers/grandfathers smoking while playing with their babies.
Anyway another cultural shock to the long list! hehe.
Does anyone knows if you can go directly in the morning and buy the tickers or if you need to buy them online previously due to the amount of people that go? I'm not sure if it would be that crowded before Summer Vacation starts.
Hello everyone! I live in Longquanyi district of Chengdu, today a bastard just threw a box with 3 newborn kittens to the street while driving, my husband happened to pass by and took them home.
We love cats but we're afraid we're not experienced enough to take care newborn kittens (they're around one week and haven't open their eyes), right now we're feeding them with special kitten formula but we're afraid we can't take care of them properly because we both have full time jobs and we can't stay at home all day long to take care of them.
We're looking for professional care and adoption for this unlucky cute babies.
We're willing to help with food and supplies in case an animal shelter can take them in as long as necessary.
We want to give them a chance to live!!
If you have any information, please reply! thanks in advance!
I went to the Casa Mia near Sichuan University. OMG! the best Lasagna I have ever try in Chengdu and the pizza was awesome as well! I'm so picky when it comes to Italian food because I can cook pasta and lasagnas so if a restaurant is not better than my cooking I usually don't like it. I really enjoy the lunch today, the flavor was authentic and tasty, I really feel like eating real Italian food and not just a copy of it. The staff is pretty diligent and friendly. I would definitely come back to this place, even when I live so far from there!
I used to go there many times, because I live in longquanyi, kind of like a town with not other option in western food to choose from. The staff have been always very friendly and noce towards us but last time I ordered tacos and sea food pasta abd i felt so disappointed:
The pasta was oily, like seriously? Italian pasta oily? And just have like 4 small shirmp and mostly heads. The tacos tasted like Sichuan spice food... Oh my... we couldn't finished. I know Mexican food is spicy but is Not the same spicy as Sichuan in terms of flavor and intensity, so I felt like I waste my money v_v
