Nice article and great photos.
It's really an amazing canyon.
Thanks for the up-to-date travel info.
Really nice photos.
You must have been there on a good day.
The hillbilly crosstowner is officially open!
Xipu to Longquan!
There's little worse than being trapped on a train with Chinese children whose parents don't parent.
Thanks for posting these. Pretty cool. I'm a long-time admirer of this buddha. And the video at the the end is straight-up mesmerizing. haha
I don't think you "need" to eat avocado for your health.
Especially in this country, where it costs so much to buy.
If you simply must eat it, join the rest of the world and make guacamole dip for corn chips.
Or put it on a taco, sandwich or salad.
Just bought a package of "Aka" bacon from Metro.
Cooked some up this morning to find they've changed the recipe of their mish-mash of pork parts.
There's some kind of synthetic maple additive to give it a nauseating sweetness (catering to the locals' western-food-sugar-requisite, perhaps?).
Metro, you disappoint me.
By the way, never buy the large red can of "tomato paste" of Shanghai origin from Metro.
It's actually ketchup.
As in sacharined tomato slop.
You'll have to provide more info:
-Where are you?
Which Australian Consulate are you applying at?
-Are you Chinese?
-Is the police certificate simply a registration of residence, or something other?
If you are a foreign person now in Chengdu looking for this clearance paper, then you need to go to your local neighborhood police station (bring a Chinese friend).
After being pointed across town several times and over the course of several days, you will probably get what you need.
