We're moving places and there are a few things that we don't have room for...
Egg Chair from Ikea - 200rmb (http://www.ikea.com/[...] ) Ours is blue. They're 499rmb new. Our girls LOVE it, there's just no room in the new apartment.
Folding Table - 70rmb - This is the largest size of folding tables like you eat on at the smaller food places in town. This is the only one large enough that I could fit my legs under while using a normal chair. It was 120rmb new and we've only used it when having guests over as a table for my children.
We live in the Youpindo area. It is on the west side of town between 2nd and 3rd ring roads, real close to SWFEU.
You can email, text, or call if you have any questions.
I'm here in Chengdu on a tourist visa (been here since Dec'12) and am enrolling in the fall for a language class. The school said it'd be no problem to switch visas in-country. The downside of this is that you're paying for 2 visas. If you know you're coming over as a student and can get the visa before you come, it'll save you a bit of money.
I am here with my family and am only required to get a visa for myself, they will all be able to get extensions as dependents of mine. However, you must have all of your documents (marriage license, birth certificates, etc...) authenticated for the process to go smoothly.
Steve, you can Skype from here to the states (we're from TX), but like Midget said, most social networks are banned. I'd recommend you buy him a VPN service from the states before he comes. This way it will appear as though he's in the states and he'll be able to access all the social media, facetime, iMessage, Netflix, etc... They're usually about $80/year or less and are very nice to have. The only downside is that it'll decrease his internet speed a bit when it's on.
Seriously love this pizza! So much better than any option in town. I'm slightly outside of the delivery range but it's well worth the drive on my e-bike to pick it up. My family has become regular customers for sure!
The dine-in experience is crowded, but that's certainly not their fault. I'd give pause to eating there in the summer because it gets hot in there with the ovens going...but, there is NEVER a hesitation for take out or delivery.
The Mad Buffalo and Goldilocks are incredibly good especially with an order of garlic knots. Last time we ate in the restaurant (a couple Sunday's ago), we discovered the Monkey knots. Whoa! They're unbelievable!!! And, by the way, we ordered them after having eaten all of our other pizza which meant they stayed open past their scheduled closing time for about 30 extra minutes. I never heard a complaint and was served with a smile and without hesitation.
This seriously is a great place and I've never had a bad experience.
