I'm moving away in a little over a month, and I'd like to find a good home for my lovely pet cockatiel, Watson. He's a very low maintenance pet, and very sweet (never bites), though he is a little skittish.
He would come free with cage, toys, and plenty of food. And if you've never owned a bird before, I'd be more than happy to give you instructions on his very simple care (mostly just giving him food and water daily).
Message me for more information or for pictures!
Hey everyone! As Easter is nearing, I was hoping to find the time and location of an Easter service somewhere in Chengdu. If possible, I'd love to find a Catholic mass, but at this point any Christian service would be fantastic. Thanks for your help!
Hello Everyone. I'm in a bit of a bind, and could use some advice.
I'm living near Chengdu, and I'm an American teaching English at a Chinese university. At the beginning of the year, I came to China with an F Class Visa supplied to me by the University. The duration of stay was for 90 days with multiple entries, and it was due to expire on May 17th, 2014. Instead of leaving the country, I got the visa extended for 90 more days in Meishan. I was then going to leave the country in January to get in renewed again, and once more in the spring semester.
Except now, unfortunately my new extended visa reads taht I am "permitted to stay until 28 JAN 2014". Does this mean that I have to totally reapply for a new visa, or does it just mean that my extension runs out, and that I need to leave the country and go back to my old visa? I really have no idea how this works, and the international office at the university is being less than helpful. If I do need to apply for the visa, I will unfortunately be in Germany the entire spring festival holiday (and already have my plane tickets booked), so I won't be able to apply for a new one here or in Hong Kong, which I've heard is common. Does anyone know how hard it might be to get a new visa from Germany? If it helps, I'll be in Berlin (with easy access to a US embassy), and I'll have several people there that speak fluent German.
Any advice at all would be HUGELY appreciated. As you can imagine, I'm just a little stressed about all this.
