I take the subway at least twice a week. I've never saw anyone getting searched or heard the metal detectors sound.

You don't need to download more than one VPN.
They are very reliable and you can change your location to different cities and countries if the speed is too slow.
Buying more than one is a waste of money.

Most appartments are furnished.
You can pick up a good oven for 400RMB from metro. The most expensive ones are 800-1000RMB.

Yeah, all the imported food stuff costs more.
I find it funny that you can buy 5 chicken breasts for less than half the price of a 250g block of cheese.

I'd agree with hammy's assessment.
I only took one star off because although my pizza was delivered quickly, it wasn't very hot when it arrived.
But that is a minor grumble, excellent taste and service.

Chengdu > Red River Grill
红河西餐厅It appears i might be an idiot, so i'll give this another try. I'll need to try this place again if it has indeed changed ownership. The food in the past was good, but the service was appalling, so much so that i stopped going there. But the food was nice and the sofas were super-comfy so i'll be back to check out the new and hopefully improved Red River.

三叶草爱尔兰西餐酒吧The food here is ok, typical pub grub, but if its busy you sometimes have to wait a while and I find some of the waiting staff in there quite rude/very slow when it comes to dealing with orders. For example, i've waited 10 minutes for mayo before(after waiting 45 minutes for my burgers)-then i went to find another waiter who got it in 30 seconds. The first waiter turned up 5 minutes later with some! They have a decent selection of drinks, and their pool table is top notch.

坦道印度餐厅Yeah, i agree that this is the nicest Indian food in chengdu. The only problems being the cost of the food, and the small portion sizes.
