@merior: thank you for the further explanation! i greatly appreciate it. Well, I guess for now I am an ordinary customer. LOL. i don't even make a helluva lot of money here CHINA. LOL.
Sounds like you've had a great experience with HSBC thus far. I guess the coffee is the added bonus...LOL...thank heavens for small favors!
Is HSBC open during the holidays?!?! I didn't get a chance to go yesterday.
@ Invisible: Whoa?!?!?!? RMB 500,000 to open up an account?!?! that's f**kin crazy! I am moving back to NYC in less than two weeks and want to open up an international account (incase I move back to CHINA/HK/elsewhere), so kinda why I am asking. Sounds like my chances at HSBC are okay....at least they can help me....Yeah, I plan on going to Yanshikou(the only one listed on Chengdoo magazine). Anything else I should be aware of?!?!? I plan to go tomorrow!
I've been going to Bookworm since September 2010 and it's my comfort zone! :) The environment is pretty chill, the food is decent, and the people are friendly/cordial. It reminds me of the hangout places in NYC and BROOKLYN! I have taken my students there and they LOVE it! Also, it's a place that has influenced and impacted my writing skills. I really really LOVE BOOKWORM!!!
