I know that single journey's cost 2-4RMB each, but I wondered if its possible to get a ticket that allows you to get off at multiple stops e.g. from Tianfu Square and get off at Sichuan Gym, Hi Tech Zone and then Century City. Is it possible to get a multiple journey ticket or do you have to get a ticket for each single journey? Thanks
If you do only one thing in Chengdu, it has to be this. It was a mission and a half getting there tbh but the pandas are amazing. And so many to see, plus the red Pandas. I went on a cooler day with rain and got there earlyish, and the pandas were moving about, eating and drinking. The cubs are adorable. A lot of photos and fun had. Not to be missed.
I wonder if I went to the right place actually, because it was free to get in. But was done looking round in literally 20 minutes. Nothing much to see apart from a few Buddha statues and one or two information signs. You take a few pics and look round the area which also is nothing special. But the only thing stopping the 0 stars was that it was free. Maybe I just went to the wrong part as I didn't see any ponds!
Can only agree with the recent comments here. Was craving a pizza big time and was definately worth it! 70 yuan for a top quality immense large pizza yes it sounds expensive but back home you'd be paying 100 yuan at least. Think its quite safe to say I will be back!
Was a bit apprehensive after seeing some of the reviews on here. But having gone I can honestly say the Shamrock is worth going to. Had a breakfast which included great sausage, bacon, eggs, beans, pieces of toast, tomatoes all tasting like home for RMB45. Full up after! Drink was expensive at RMB15 for a can of coke, but overall cheaper than other Western food I've seen here. Friendly staff with decent English, magazines etc to read too and alright music. Recommended!
