I passed my test first time today.
I found this website very helpful to practice....... http://www.chinese-driving-test.com/test/
My first attempt at the practice test I scored 75% after about 10 to 15 attempts I started to hit above 90% regularly and found the real test pretty easy, scored 92%
I went to the Bookworm to try their Big Breakfast this morning, because I read this thread and saw they have English sausages.
The sausages were awful, I didn't eat them. My wife had to spit her's out and she's Chinese, eats anything! The Bacon wasn't anything like the bacon I know and love. The beans were stone cold.
The rest of it was nice, so I suggest if you want to try their breakfast, go for the veggie option. If I find any good sausages, I will post about it here.
I stumbled across this little gem of a restaurant yesterday.
The service was great, waitresses spoke very good English. The food was well presented, very tasty and would not be out of place in any City, in the world.
I don't understand some of the negative reviews here and although it may be a bit pricey by Chengdu levels, it's about average for a London restaurant, certainly not Michelin star prices!
The atmosphere could have been a bit better, but the manager asked how everything was as we left and I gave her a couple of suggestions, which I'm sure she took on board and I felt that overall they were trying to make the evening special, not just somewhere to eat.
All in all, if you want some fantastic food and proper service, then I highly recommend trying this place.
